Greetings Band Parents and Mac Band Supporters,
The Mac Band 2021 Sponsorship Drive is now underway! Melanie, Jamie, and Jennifer have put in a lot of effort to plan this year’s event and have also created the first issue of In Step, a newsletter all about the Mac Band. Please feel free to print copies and distribute them to anyone you think would be willing to help support the band.
As always, donations may be made at the Donate tab on the MacBand website. The In Step newsletter is also available on the website at the Forms & Docs tab. It’s a fun and informative read and I encourage you to read the complete issue here.
Bottle Drive Update
A big thank you to everyone for helping with the Bottle Drives!
Jamie and Aaron took a long drive on Saturday stopping at numerous Bottle Drop locations to clear out the band trailer and Jennifer, Katherine, Felicia, Olivia, and Collin persevered through another mountain of bottles and cans getting them bagged up and ready to go to Oregon Bottle Drop (at least the trailer was empty for a couple of hours!)
In addition to all the folks who have brought bottles and cans from home, our thanks go to Recology for the providing us with bins full of returnables all this month. In about a year and a half, we have managed to raise over $8700 through these Bottle Drives!
