In other good news…
Thanks to Collin for encouraging enough of us to write-in the McMinnville Music Boosters on the recent First Federal Customer Ballot. The Boosters received 17 votes and as a result, First Federal has sent us a check for $172.00.

On the Calendar
I’ve been checking into the status of a couple of spring events that the band was to be involved with and here’s what I’ve found:
McMenamins UFO Festival (Alien Days Parade) has been rescheduled for September 17-19. (That might actually work out well for the band if we can somehow incorporate the March-a-thon fundraiser into it.)
No news on any Rose Festival events being rescheduled.

The Other Election
As a reminder, it’s almost May and even though we aren’t having parent meetings at the moment, we do need to think about electing band parent officers for the next school year. Please seriously consider taking on a board position. It’s well worth your time and a whole lot of fun.
