News – June 20. 2021

Greetings Band Parents and Mac Band Supporters,

The MOB (McMinnville Outdoor Band) took to the streets of Sheridan on Saturday for their first appearance in the Hometown Days parade. It was a perfect sunny day for marching and the band was warmly greeted by the cheers of the crowd lining the streets.

Thanks to the Sheridan Rotary Club for hosting this fun event.

The voting is now over and without further adieu, here are your Band Parent Officers for the 2021/2022 school year.

(You may have noticed that there was no one listed for the position of Vice President. That’s due to the fact that we have received equal numbers of write-in votes for this position. I’ll report more after we have contacted the write-in candidates.)

New Mac Band Merch
Imprinted with the classic Mac Band logo on the front and the Mac Pride chant on the back, the Mac Band Water Bottle is now available. You can get yours (or your kids’) at the MacBand website or at many of the upcoming summer and fall band events. These bottles are excellent quality and will last for years.

June Bottle Drive
Our June Bottle Drive is coming up this Saturday, June 26th. Once again we’ll be in the Incahoots parking lot from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Please come lend a hand with collecting, bagging, and taking bags to a Bottle Drop location. Here’s the link to the sign-up sheet.
(It should also be a great day to work on your tan.)
