Greetings Band Parents and Mac Band Supporters,
Thanks to the fantastic group of parent and student volunteers who helped out with Saturday’s Bottle Drive. In addition to the some of the regular volunteers, we had new helpers. And they haven’t even started high school yet! Thanks to you all.
Despite the heat, we managed to collect another 70 to 80 bags full of returnable bottles and cans. Which by my calculations, should be somewhere in the $500 range.
New Mac Band Merch
Imprinted with the classic Mac Band logo on the front and the Mac Pride chant on the back, the Mac Band Water Bottle is now available. You can get yours (or your kids’) at the MacBand website or at many of the upcoming summer and fall band events. These bottles are excellent quality and will last for years.

On the Horizon
Looking at the calendar it appears there’s not too much going on for the band for the next few weeks. (Other than individual practice). So, I may skip sending an email or two. But then again, we do have a couple of fun band parent projects in the works that we hope to get started on. If any of those happen, you’ll hear from me sooner.
