Greetings Band Parents and Mac Band Supporters,
If you have a child who is interested in playing Jazz, check this out. Willamette Valley Music Company in Salem hosts Jazz Jam Sessions for Middle and High School players. The Jam Sessions happen on the first Wednesday of every month (except for major holidays) from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This is a fantastic way for kids to learn from local professionals. Interested musicians can get the tune list at this link so they can prepare in advance.
Willamette Valley Music Company is a constant supporter of music in the schools and the McMinnville Music Boosters.

Winter Ensembles Soon to Begin
Experience Days have begun for Winter Percussion and will begin December 2nd for Winter Guard. On Experience Days, all students are welcome to come and learn about the Winter Ensembles and give it a try. For Percussion, that means having a chance to try all the drums and mallet instruments. For Guard, it’s flags and movement. No experience is necessary. Dates and times are listed below.
