Greetings Band Parents and Mac Band Supporters,

This is what success looks like. The Bottle and Can Drives have been very popular and the band trailer is running almost full to the top. If you can take a few bags to a Bottle Drop location, it would really help out.

In the near future, we will need to find a place (other than the trailer) that we can store the bags of bottles and cans while they are waiting to be returned, Do you have, or know of, an unused garage, shed, or storage unit that would work for this? Ideally, it would need to be in McMinnville or fairly close and have easy access for loading and unloading. Please reply if you have any ideas. Thanks!

Now in Lafayette: Bottle and Can Drive
Thanks to Jess, we now have a Lafayette location to add to our Bottle and Can Drives. The plan is to have the Lafayette drives on the 2nd Saturdays of the month and continue the McMinnville drives on the 4th Saturdays of the month. So with next Saturday being the 2nd Saturday of the month, we will be starting the Lafayette drive. This will be in the parking lot of Carniceria Abastos (160 W 3rd Street, Lafayette) from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Please drop by with your donation of returnable bottles and cans. And as always, your help would be greatly appreciated. To spread out the fun, the volunteer shifts have been reduced to one hour (don’t worry, if that’s too short for you, just sign up for more than one shift!) Here’s the link to the sign up sheet.

Band Parent Board Zoom Meeting
You are invited and welcome to join the Band Parent Board at our next Zoom Meeting. It will be starting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9th and finishing up about 7:40 p.m. on March 9th. (That’s tomorrow!) Let me know if you are interested and I’ll send you the access information.

Thanks for reading and supporting the band,
Brian Bailey
