Greetings Band Parents and Mac Band Supporters,
At last Tuesday’s Band Parent meeting, we took some time to split up into groups to make plans for Band Camp and come up with a menu and activity ideas. Luckily we have Melanie to guide us through the meal planning and Owen has created a new Volunteer Sign-up Sheet where you can select what you would like to help with and when you would like to do it. In addition to helping feed the band, we are also in need of parents who can stay overnight as chaperones and some fun folks to help out with evening activities. Please take a look and add your name to the list – it should be a lot of fun.

New Band Camp Web Page
One of the best suggestions that recently came my way was that it would be nice if there was a page on the Mac Band website that was specifically about Band Camp. So after gathering information from some key people and finding all the forms we would need, I’m happy to report that the Band Camp page is up and running and you should be able to the find answers to all your Band Camp questions there. If not, send us an email. We plan to keep updating the page in the weeks leading up to camp and want to know what information you are looking for.

Spanish Speaker Needed
It’s getting close to the time that we need to finalize the numbers for Band Camp and Marching Band. While we have a lot of the kids signed up, there are still quite a few who we need to contact. We are planning to make some phone calls to parents later in the week and could really use someone who is fairly fluent in Spanish.
