Greetings Band Parents and Mac Band Supporters,
On Saturday, the Winter Guard and Winter Percussion traveled to St. Helens High School for the Columbia River Winter Arts Invitational. Getting all the instruments, equipment, and props for both groups in the trailer was a bit of a challenge, but we finally got it figured out. Having both groups together did have its advantages though, as the groups were able to assist each other with moving props and folding the floors.
The Winter Percussion put on a great show for their first ever competitive event. And the Winter Guard was ready for the day, putting in an excellent performance coming home with the First Place trophy!
Congratulations to both groups for your efforts and all the hours of hard work.
And Thanks to all the parents who made the trip, helped load the trailer, feed the kids, and move equipment.
