Greetings Band Parents and Mac Band Supporters,
There’s holiday music in the air this week. The MHS Choirs will be performing their always inspirational Traditional Holiday Choir Concerts on Wednesday, December 18th. Performances are at 6:30 pm and 8:00 pm. Be prepared to soak in the warm feelings as choirs wrap around you, filling the room with love, joy, beauty, and song. All for only $5.00.
On Thursday, December 19th, the MHS Jazz Band and Jazz Choirs will get your holidays swinging. The concert starts at 8:00 pm in the Auditorium.
Fun Note: On the MHS website it says, “Join us for an evening of Free Jazz music…” That would really be an interesting and adventurous style of Jazz for high school musicians to attempt. I assume they just mean that there is no admission charge for the concert.

There will likely be no band news to report over the Winter Break, so I’m going to take a short break from these emails and will be back in January.
