Greetings Band Parents and Mac Band Supporters,
A huge thank you to the 20+ volunteers who signed up to help make last weeks Band Camp a success. We also had 6 band alumni volunteer their time to help with the Guard, Battery, Front Ensemble, and on the field. If you purchased snacks and/or water bottles, bring your receipts to the band room on Tuesday, August 10, at 7:00pm so the Band Parent Organization can reimburse you. if this time doesn’t work, send me a text to arrange a time (209-658-0152).
Their will be many more opportunities to volunteer in the near future with pregame football tailgate parties, and of course, the shows scheduled in October. Stay tuned for more details to come.
A Message from the Sponsorship Chair (Jamie)
The bottle drive has been an increasingly successful fundraiser for the band during the pandemic, and we need your help with all the bottles that have been donated. There are still bags in the band trailer that need to be delivered to bottle drop locations. If you’re able to, someone will be at the band trailer by the band room on Tuesday, August 10, at 7:00pm, to help you load bags into your vehicle. We will also be at all other band practice times until the trailer is empty.
Bottle drop locations include: NEWBERG (Fred Meyer),
SALEM (various Bottle Drop locations) , TIGARD (Bottle Drop near Bull Mountain Road off Highway 99), WILSONVILLE (Safeway), MONMOUTH (Roths) or DALLAS (Safeway).
