Greetings Band Parents and Mac Band Supporters,
It was a great evening of music last Friday as we successfully kicked off what hopefully will become an annual event, the Mac Jazz Concert.     Thanks to 99 West, RED, Ponderosa, and the MHS Jazz Band for providing the music. Thanks to Katie and the McMinnville Community Center staff for hosting us, to JL Kiff Vineyards for the wine tasting and to Martin at Reel Hollywood Video for emceeing the event. And of course this couldn’t have happened without all the parents and students who volunteered their time and talents. And finally, a special thanks to Patricia and Glenn for the incredible variety of delicious appetizers and desserts!

McMenamins Friends & Family Night
Our next fundraiser is coming up on Tuesday as we head downtown to McMenamins for Friends and Family Night. From 5:00 p.m. until closing, McMenamins will be generously donating a portion of the proceeds to the Mac Band. And as an added bonus, the MHS Jazz Band will also be performing. Help spread the word to everyone you know to come on out for dinner and support the band at the same time.

This Week’s Schedule
 McMenamins Friends & Family Night – Tuesday, April 30th – 5:00 p.m. until closing @ McMenamins Hotel Oregon. This is one of the easiest and best fundraisers for the band program – all you need to do is come eat dinner and McMenamins gives us money. Tell your friends.
