Band Camp Schedule
Marching Band Camp will be August 1st-6th, Monday – Saturday, at McMinnville High School. Please note that everyday band rehearsal starts at 9am.
Monday – Thursday
9:00 – 11:30am Marching Band basics at Baker Field
10:15am Snack
11:30am Lunch Break
1pm – 2pm Sectionals inside the high school
2:15 All Ensemble in the auditorium.
3pm Dinner Break
6pm – 8:30pm Drill sets at Baker Field or Stadium
Friday
9am – 11:30am Full rehearsal
12pm Parent Show
Saturday
9am – 12pm Full rehearsal followed by the car wash fundraiser (more information to come).
Students:
Please remember water bottles, sunblock, hats, instrument (or flag for color guard members) and music, and coordinate sheet/ drill sheet. Katie, your drum major, recommends taking pictures of your music and coordinate sheet/ drill sheet. NO OPEN TOE SANDALS OR FLIP FLOPS allowed at rehearsals.
Parents:
We will need helpers throughout this week. There will be opportunities to help at sign in and snack as well as providing snacks, water bottles, or even shade canopies. Please sign up here to help. We appreciate any help you can provide.
