We are still waiting to hear back from a few nominees for Officers for the McMinnville Band Parent Organization so the voting won’t begin for a few more days.
Hopefully, I’ll be sending out the (electronic) ballots by the middle of the week.

On the Calendar
We don’t have any definitive news yet about the fall Marching season. NWAPA, the organization in charge of the competitions, is calling a meeting of band directors to discuss options. No date for the meeting was mentioned on the website, but I’ll keep checking and as soon as I hear anything, I’ll let you know.

Bottles to Bag
We had such a tremendous rush of bottle and can donations towards the end of the last collection event that we ran out of bags and tags. We were able to secure enough to be able to finish up the bagging and tagging and will be doing that on Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm. If you are able to help, please meet us on McDonald Lane and 16th Street (near the field house).
If you aren’t able to help, but can take a few bags to a Bottle Drop location, please drop by and pick some up. We should be there until about 8 pm.
