Greetings Band Parents and Mac Band Supporters,
Congratulations to the Mac Pride Winter Guard! They opened the competition season on Saturday at Tigard High School with a strong performance of their show, “The Good and Lonely Earth.” This group has moved up to the Scholastic AA level this year and brought home a second place finish (just a half point from first).

19 Bags of Bottles and Cans
For our first monthly Bottle Drive, I think we did pretty well. We ended up with 19 bags full of bottles and cans ready to be delivered to Oregon Bottle Drop. At somewhere around $7 per bag, that’s close to $150. We are planning to get some signs made before next month and if everyone keeps spreading the word, this should turn into a solid fundraiser. Thanks to Sheri, Shelly, Janet and Collin for the help!

The Mac Band Sponsorship Drive continues for the next couple of months. Below are links to the flyer along with a donor form and a page with a wish list and a list of some of the costs of putting on a Marching Band Show. If you can, please print off a flyer or two and ask a few friends, family members, or even total strangers for support.
