Greetings Mac Band Parents and Supporters,
Tomorrow (Saturday, October 6th) is the Mac Band’s first competition of the season. Here are some things you should know,:
If you are helping get the Front Ensemble on and off the field, please be at the game tonight (Friday). Please arrive by 7:00 p.m. at the latest – the band will perform the show at halftime. This will be our ‘dress rehearsal’.
We will load the trailer tonight after the football game performance.
Setup crew needs to be at Hillsboro Stadium at 9:00 a.m. Saturday.
The band will perform rain or shine, and at the moment it looks like it will be pretty good weather in Hillsboro tomorrow. Hooray!
Anyone watching the show or helping get the band on the field must have a wristband. We are allotted some wristbands as part of our entry fees and are able to purchase up to 10 more at half price ($7.50 -regular admission price is $15). We will be purchasing the additional wristbands after the band arrives and we have a count of how many volunteers we have.

Parking and Facilities Map McMinnville has been assigned space 7 in the Band Parking Area. Personal vehicles must park in the Spectator Parking Area.
General Information about the Event

Students need to bring lunch. They will eat lunch late morning before performing. First performance is at 12:59 p.m. Band parents will be providing healthy snacks in the afternoon and dinner after the band performs in the finals.
Uniforms will be transported in the trailer. All Band members must bring their marching shoes with them on the bus. Wear all black socks, crew length or longer (an extra pair if it’s raining is always nice.)
Spandex or sport shorts for under bibbers. No jeans or bulky clothes. We will not have dressing rooms.
T-shirts or long sleeve undershirts for under the uniform top. Not too bulky. For those who wear them, remember your gloves.
