Greetings Band Parents and Mac Band Supporters,
The Mac Band returned to Roby’s Furniture on Saturday to spread holiday cheer. A select group of students made themselves comfortable and performed a selection of traditional Christmas music. (Although it’s hard to tell from my photo, that’s Mr. Barton on Tuba.)

Fair Share Status
Jamie has been working hard to keep the band account in the black as we move into the Winter competition season. If your student still has a Fair Share balance owing, you should have received an email invoice for December. There are some parents for whom we don’t have an email address, and paper copies will be sent home with their students. If you have any questions about outstanding balances, please send an email to [email protected]
One of our agenda items for Tuesday’s Band Parent Meeting is how to collect outstanding amounts. Bring your ideas and suggestions.

This Week’s Schedule
Patton Middle School Holiday Concert – Monday, December 10th @ 7:00 p.m. The Patton Band and Choir students will present their Holiday Concert .
Band Parent Meeting – Tuesday, December 11th @ 7:00 p.m. in the MHS Freshman Den. Please join us as we discuss the current fundraising situation and get an update from Mr. Barton on the Winter Ensembles.
Also, tor those who ordered Band Photo Buttons, they will be available to pick up at the meeting.

Next Week’s Schedule
Holiday Jazz Concert – Monday, December 17th @ 7:30 p.m. in the MHS Auditorium. The High School Jazz Band and Jazz Choirs will perform.
