Mac Band Parents Association

Fundraising opportunities will be held throughout the year to allow opportunities to raise money for your student’s individual point account in order to pay and/or offset the cost of your student’s required band expenses and/or the spring trip. The student officers may also sponsor fundraisers or special events with that money going into the student officer account. The fundraiser will clearly indicate who will benefit.

General reminders about fundraisers:

Ø Fundraisers will be announced at all Band Parent meetings and posted on the www.macband.net website.

Ø Please be mindful and adhere to all deadline dates for turn-in and pick up of your fundraiser items so that items can be ordered and delivered in a timely manner.

Ø Fundraising forms, checks and envelopes should be turned in to the locked blue box in Mr. Goforth’s office. Directors are not responsible for money/envelopes that are given to them or placed outside of the locked blue box.

Ø Only checks and money orders shall be accepted, NO CASH. Please make sure your student’s name is on all forms, checks and envelopes collected and turned in.

Ø Fundraisers have different profit margins depending upon the fundraising company. (For example, program ad sales are 75%, car wash coupon book sales 50%, etc.)
